So sorry to learn of Bob's passing.
In the '60s I was a teenager and often would often "hang out" at the airport on Sunday afternoons, enjoying talking with Bob and the other airplane folk. Once, Bob helped me out with an engineering graphics project for college work. We surely have appreciated swell people such Bob Newland. God's Blessings to Bob's and Beulah's family.

Uncle Bob, I will miss you, but not too much as you say because I know you are home now with Aunt Beulah where you have wished to be. I wish I could have told you how important you are to me, but I was afraid if I tried it would sound stupid. Because of you I joined the Choir in our church and God wrapped his arms around me and said I have a plan for you my son. Fifteen years later I am still singing and cannot imagine a Sunday without my choir family. You changed my life. Thank you. Because of you I know how to shoot straight and drive my Grandpa's Tractor. And because of you I know how to keep my yard looking like a park. If you could please say hi to my big brother David. I miss him terribly still, I can't help it, but it's easier now knowing you are with him. I love you Uncle Bob. Take care.
