Hi, Patty and family: So sorry to see your loss-a friend had passed, and I saw John's name. I know you and he were close, and you will miss him. My husband just had cancer surgery and is to make a full recovery, but my experience has been nothing like what you have had. I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. My heart goes out to his entire family. He was truly a great man. I know I gave him many challenges in trying to keep me straight. I believe he enjoyed the job.

Jo, I am so sorry to hear that John has passed away. John was one of the best! I will always remember that special night that you and John had at the Stonehedge. I am glad that I was able to be there with the rest of the Shawswick class that night. The cards and letters that you and John took time to send were always appreciated at my house. Perhaps you can find some comfort in my message. May you find peace in the days ahead.
