What a wonderful influence Mr. Luse was on us all! He was a teacher and principal the entire 12 years I attended school and Mrs. Luse was my 2nd grade teacher. He was there while my four siblings attended school. He knew my parents, Aunts and Uncles. Mr. Luse was much more than just a teacher, he was also a surrogate father to all his students, but more importantly, he was our friend, our confidant, and our Role Model. He was someone you knew you could trust and count on. He taught by example and was a big part of our lives for many years. I have a lot of fond memories of him which I consider to be a gift from God. He has left a legacy that his family can be very proud of. I feel honored just having known him. It is gentle, yet tough people like Bill Luse who make the most lasting impressions on others, by sharing in our day to day failures and triumphs. He made learning easy for us all.
