Kenny was always a pretty cool guy. I ran into him at the boat club last time I saw him and he ask about a friend we both knew back in the days of High School. I said the guy is home but very sick and has serious health problems and will not live much longer. He ask me to take him to his house so he could play him some songs on his guitar. I called and got the OK to stop in and we had a great visit for 30 minutes.
He also showed his camera equipment to my son and allowed him to shoot some pictures and enjoy the top quality gear he had.
Thank you for your service in the Army. Thank you for being a good friend and a good guy.

Kenny I considered a best friend. Last time I talked to him was at Dr. Schmalz's office, not knowing what he had been going through. Telling him I bought my first guitar to learn to play at 74 yrs. old, he offered to give me free lessons and him feeling the way he did. You feel better now Kenny, in the hands of our Lord. RIP! Debbie, we are so sorry for your loss. The visits with Clarence and Dorthy here in Tennessee and every time they came to Indiana were much enjoyed. Kenny’s frequent phone calls were a real source of pleasure for Clarence. They spent some good, long hours talking about old times and places and especially politics! Despite his physical suffering, Kenny’s life overflowed with good things. His love of photography and music provided a backdrop for his unique ability to make each person he encountered feel valued. How did he do that for so many? Each time we look at his beautiful pictures, we will remember.
