Obituary of Joseph E. Perry

Bloomington – Joseph E. (Joe) Perry, 51, of Bloomington, died at 2:30 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at his residence. Born July 19, 1964 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Earl and Linda (Roberts) Perry. He had worked in the seafood department at Kroger Food Store and volunteered with the Salvation Army. Survivors include his father, Earl Perry, of Bedford; two brothers, Kevin Perry of Greenwood and Bill Perry and wife, Barbara, of Springville; two nephews, Zachary and Jacob Perry; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda and a brother, Kyle Perry. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 29th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Marty Speer officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
