Obituary of Rudy Gene Chambers

Bedford – Rudy Gene Chambers, 78, of Bedford, died at 5:45 am on Friday, August 07, 2015 at his residence. Born January 4, 1937 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Frances Chambers. He married Betty Fesler on March 26, 1960 and she survives. He was a mechanic and had farmed for many years. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge, Operators/Engineers Union Local #841, Teamsters Union and was an avid gardener. Survivors include his wife, Betty, of Bedford; a daughter, Rebecca Chambers of Bedford; a son, Timothy Chambers of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Clint Chambers (Erin Bisanti), Tyler Ritchison, Danielle Bugh (Dusty) and William Ritchison; great-grandchildren, Jasey Ritchison, Lily and Henry Bugh; a brother, Raymond Chambers (Joan Finney) of CA; several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. As per Rudy’s wishes, he was cremated with no services.
