Obituary of Glendora Goodwin

Bedford Glendora Goodwin, 77, of 1722 Linwood Drive, Bedford, died at 3:15 am on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born May 30, 1931 in French Lick, IN, she was the daughter of Tracy and Roberta (Shipman) Crowder. She married Dallas Claude Goodwin in 1949 and he preceded her in death. She was employed as a writer for the Times-Mail in Bedford and was a member of the Free Methodist Church where she played the organ for many years. Survivors include one son, Tim Goodwin and his wife, Jane of Bedford: two grandchildren, Sara Goodwin and Andy Goodwin both of Bloomington, and one brother, Carl David Crowder of Plymouth, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Sharon Rose Ragatz. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 26th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Jeff Crowder officiating. Burial will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
