I really appreciated knowing Glendora and having many biblical discussions with her. She was a good writer and a good friend. I will miss her, and I know you, Tim and Jane, will too.

Tim and Jane:
Lacy and I are very sorry for your loss. I didn't really know your mom, other than from the paper, but I will miss seeing her there to watch us play (and win) the Braingames. I know many people in the community loved her and the messages she brought to people through the newspaper. Like you said to me today Tim, the worst part is over. Now she is better off than we are and waiting to see us again.
I am sure she is in Heaven now but that doesn't mean she won't be missed here. You will be in our prayers.
God bless,
Brian and Lacy

I knew Glendora from many years ago when she did an article on me for the paper. Later we crossed paths again when I started working at Hardees. She came through the drive-thru to order her small coffee and biscuit & gravy. She was always an inspiration. She will be truly missed by all of us that were fortunate enough to have known her.

I'm glad I got to know you Glendora. I loved having a good chuckle with you before I walked out the door after a long day of work. If only I could take a peek into heaven, it would give me great joy to see you laughing and having a good time. I hope you send some of that joy and warmth down to us every once in a while.

I am very sorry for your loss. Glendora was my 2nd cousin. Her Mother and my Granddad Bill Shipman were brother and sister. I can remember my mother (Betty Campbell) speak often of "Glennie". My prayers are with you.
