Obituary of Sylvio John Bianchi

Bedford Sylvio John Bianchi, 82, of 83 Trogden Lane, Bedford, died at 7:50 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2008 at Bloomington Hospital. Born August 27, 1925 in San Jose, CA, he was the son of Sylvester and Angelina (Vellutini) Bianchi. He married Iva Lee Hammond on September 10, 1949 and she survives. He retired as a special pricer for I.B.M. in California. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Army under General Patton with the Third Army. Surviving with his wife, Iva of Bedford is one daughter, Debbie Fike of San Jose, CA; one son, Syl John Bianchi of Campbell, CA; one grandson, Joshua Michael Bianchi of San Jose, CA; a nephew, Emmett Giurlani; a niece, Jane Giurlani both of San Francisco, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Emma Giurlani. Funeral Information Private services will be conducted in California with burial at sea.
