Obituary of John Reuter

Nokomis, FL John Reuter, 72, of Nokomis, FL, and of 508 Knoll Dr., Bedford, IN, died Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Alterra Clare Bridge in Sarasota, FL. Born February 19, 1933 in Bedford, IN, he was the son of Erle and Jessie Helen (Gainey) Reuter. He married Karen Nygord on August 29, 1954 and she survives. He was an Ophthalmologist in Bedford for many years and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bedford. Surviving with his wife, Karen, are three daughters, Barb Hennig of Columbus, IN, Becky Hitchcock of Bedford and Cindy Reuter of San Francisco, CA; one son, John Michael Reuter of Fountain Hills, AZ; four grandchildren; one brother, Conrad Reuter of Sarasota, FL. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 28th at the First United Methodist Church in Bedford with Rev. Curtis Hurley officiating.
