Obituary of Isaac Redmond

Bedford Isaac Redmond, Jr., 54, of 2213 H Street, Bedford, died Sunday, February 26, 2012 at his residence. Born December 29, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of Isaac Redmond, Sr. and Mary (Tallent) Redmond. He married Kelly Sanders on April 16, 1983 and she survives. He retired as a police officer with the Marion Co. Sherriffs Dept. and had worked as a police officer at NWSC Crane. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. Survivors include his wife, Kelly, of Bedford; his father, Isaac Redmond of Florida; a son, Joshua Redmond of Bedford; a daughter, Heather Mefford of Bedford; three grandchildren, Madison, Connor and Ryleigh; two brothers, David Redmond of Brown Co. and Joe Redmond of Florida. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 1st in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Darryl Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 29th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
