Obituary of Beverly J. Raines

Bedford Beverly J. Raines, 67, a resident of the Hauck House in Bedford and formerly of South Bend, IN, died at 3:40 am on Thursday, April 29, 2004 at Westview Manor. Born May 9, 1936 in South Bend, IN, she was the daughter of Vernon B. and France J. (Strebel) Carlin. She was a caregiver and formerly worked in quality control at Allied Products in South Bend, IN. Survivors include two sons, Michael A. Raines of Bedford and Kerry V. Raines of Oolitic; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Vernon Carlin of Bremen, IN and Richard Carlin of Lydick, IN; one sister, Kay Soule of Bremen, IN. Funeral Information A graveside committal service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 1st at House of Prayer Cemetery in Fayetteville. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
