Obituary of James A. Rainbolt

Bloomington James A. Rainbolt, 61, of 415 W. Joy Street, Bloomington, died at 4:04 pm on Wednesday, September 29, 2004 at Bloomington Hospital. Born January 21, 1943, he was the son of Ivan and Zelma (Godsey) Rainbolt. He married Sharon A. Wilson on September 22, 1979. He retired in February 2004 from the maintenance department of Indiana University. He was a member of the Reform Presbyterian Church in Bloomington. Survivors include his wife, Sharon, of Bloomington; one son, Joseph Rainbolt of Anderson, IN; one grandson, Thomas Rainbolt of Bloomington; one brother, Robert Rainbolt and his wife, Bonnie of Kenton, OH; three sisters-in-law, Sue Baker and her husband, Phil of Bloomington, Bobbie Littlehale of Washington, DC and Connie Rainbolt of Oolitic; one brother-in-law, Steve Wilson and his wife, Sheila of Dayton, OH; several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jeff Rainbolt and one brother, Dale Rainbolt. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 2nd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford, with Rev. Bill Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Byers-Rainbolt Cemetery in the Popcorn Community. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 1st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
