Jerry was a hero to all of the kids in the R street neighborhood. He knew us all by name and was the most caring person I ever met, if you wanted some candy but didn't have the money, he would just hand it to you and say "pay me next time". He was a neighborhood fixture and a true blessing to the neighborhood and town. Loved that guy!

Martha and family, What a wonderful godly man you were blessed with. He set such a wonderful example of contentment and joy. Truly he was part of a generation of gentlemen who were brave and wise beyond their years who treasured life to the fullest. Proverbs 15:23

I am so sorry about your Dad. When I think of your parents as I grew up across the street from you, I think of smiles. Whenever they saw me, it was always smiles. Your Dad was one of the few people who always called me Carol Ann. They were great .
