Obituary of Danny L. Pruett

Bedford Danny L. Pruett, 69, of Bedford, died Monday, August 13, 2012 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born August 29, 1942 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Edward Lee and Eva Joy Goodman Pruett. He married Carolyn Hicks on August 4, 1963 and she survives. He was a die setter at Central Foundry and a member of the Clearview Baptist Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed woodworking and reading history. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn of Bedford; two daughters, Vicky Fields and husband, Michael of Bedford and Dian Livingston and husband, Terry of Paoli; grandchildren, Chad Fields, Morgan Hunsaker, Hannah Fields, Christopher Pruett and Brennan Hunsaker; two brothers, Laddie Pruett of Utah and Phillip Pruett of Bedford; four sisters, Beth Love, Becky Ratliff, Lisa Clark and Laura Diehl all of Bedford; several nieces and nephews, cousins and in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Jimmy and Daniel Pruett; a sister, Bonnie Moffitt and a brother, Mark Pruett. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Friday, August 17th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Kenny Dalton officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery with military rites accorded at the graveside. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 16th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
