Obituary of Fred Bartlett

HeltonvilleFred Bartlett, 69, of 3344 Dunn Bridge Road, Heltonville passed away at 6:20 A.M. Saturday November 13th at his residence. Born on June 8, 1935, he was the son of Earl Bartlett and Evelyn (Sowder) Bartlett. He was a 1954 graduate of Heltonville High School, a retired truck driver and a grain farmer. He married Judith K. Cobb on September 16, 1961 and she survives. Surviving in addition to his wife, Judith; is one son: Brian Bartlett and his wife, Kelli of Heltonville and one daughter: Jill Chastain and her husband, Greg of Mitchell; four grandchildren: Brianna and Braden Bartlett; Zachary and Sarah Chastain; one brother: Paul Bartlett of Heltonville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Marjorie Turner and one brother: Harold Peck Bartlett. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 16th from the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Bartlettsville Christian Church Cemetery. Friends may call at Day & Carter on Monday, November 15th from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.
