Obituary of Arthur M. Potts

Springville Arthur M. Potts, 68, of 324 Red Hill Addition, Springville, IN, died at 12:15 pm on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at his residence. Born September 24, 1941 in Bedford, he was the son of Cecil and Mary Louise (Dillon) Potts. He married Luella Rose Hawkins on October 11, 1969 and she survives. He retired from Visteon after twenty-two years. He had worked for Holsum Bakery for seventeen years and Bob Ryan Auto Sales for seven years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Bedford. Survivors include his wife, Luella, of Springville; a son, David Potts of Bedford; two daughters, Keri Yingst of Bedford and Terri Yingst (who went missing in 1984 along with her son, Nathan David Yingst); three brothers, Eddie, Danny and Ronnie Potts; a sister, Maria Garron; six grandchildren, Devin, Lynsi and Tanner Potts, Dante Dodds, Ashley and Athena Lampropoulos; two great grandchildren, Iysis and Brooklynne Lampropoulos. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Pauline. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Billy Brim officiating. Burial will follow in the Springville West Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, November 13th and from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday, November 14th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
