What a blessing to be among the many that Don touched throughout their entire life. Don's 1949 Needmore class was the first to graduate after daddy started his store in Needmore and as such those kids were always his favorites. What a lucky girl I have been to have had the blessing of a Don Piper in my community, school and church. May his memories continue to comfort his girls forever. He loved you all so much.

I am so sorry for your loss. I never knew Mr. Piper, but he was a great help to my Dad, Harvey P. Jeffries, in the 60's. Daddy had gone to Hines V.A. Hospital for a Rehabilitation program after his sight had deteriorated so much that he was unable to continue his job at Crane. He later started his own woodworking shop and a pallet business. I believe Mr. Piper served as his woodworking coach on a very casual basis, but I can remember Daddy spoke very highly of Mr. Piper and had a great degree of respect and admiration for him. May God Bless your family at this time and in the future.

Barbara and Leslie, What a loss. What a wonderful man of God Don was. May you continue to feel his arms of comfort and love around you, as well as the arms of care and compassion from God, and other family and friends. Peace and love to you at this difficult time... Lisa Deckert

Dear Leslie and Mrs. Piper, I hope this quote helps to comfort you. Love, Laurie
You don't have to be alone in your hurt! Comfort is yours. Joy is an option. And it's all been made possible by your Saviour. He went without comfort so you might have it. He postponed joy so you might share in it. He willingly chose isolation so you might never be alone in your hurt and sorrow.
