Obituary of Justus Juddie Peyton

Rev. Justus Juddie Peyton Rev. Justus Juddie Peyton, 84, of Bedford, passed away at 5:10 A.M. Sunday, June 21, 2009 at the Stonebridge Health Campus. Born August 22, 1924 in Turkey Knob, WV, he was the son of Berry Mark Peyton and Sally Rupe. Juddie married Eunice Shelton on December 25, 1952 and she survives. He graduated from Marshall University in Huntington, WV with a bachelors degree. Juddie was a member of the Wesleyan Tabernacle Association. He pastored several churches and was president and director of Evangelistic Faith Mission in Bedford. He also preached and sang on WBIW radio station and attended Faith Mission Church of Bedford. Juddie was a WWII veteran serving in the United States Navy. Surviving with his wife Eunice of Bedford is one daughter; Betty Nowling and her husband Colby of Bloomington; one granddaughter, Lacy Marie Nowling of Bloomington and several nieces and nephews. Juddie was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Inez Price and Ruth Brown; and two brothers, Harry R. Peyton and Leslie Peyton. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00PM Wednesday, June 24th, 2009 at Faith Mission Church with Rev. Leonard Sankey officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery with military rites accorded at the graveside by American Legion Gillen Post #33. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Tuesday, June 23rd from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and from 11:00 AM Wednesday until the hour of service at Faith Mission Church.
