Obituary of Wade L. Payton

Bloomington Wade L. Payton, 66, of 1360 Arlington Park, Bloomington, IN, died at 5:35 am on Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at White River Lodge in Bedford. Born December 21, 1937 in Lawrence County, IN, he was the son of Hubert and Dovie (Wade) Payton. He married Phyllis George and she survives. He was retired from G.E. in Bloomington. He was a veteran of WW II serving with the U.S. Army and of the Nazarene faith. Surviving with his wife, Phyllis of Bedford are four daughters; six granddaughters and one great grandson. Funeral Information The body will be cremated. Memorial services will be conducted at a later date. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
