Obituary of Roscoe James Pavey

Bedford Roscoe James Jim Pavey, 74, of Bedford, died at 8:30 am on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at I.U. Health Bedford. Born June 8, 1940 in Bedford, he was the son of Roscoe James and Eula (Hardwick) Pavey. He married Elva Walls on October 24, 1969 and she survives. Survivors include his wife, Elva, of Bedford; two daughters, Jamie Herzner and husband, David, of Oolitic and Tammy York and husband, Billy, of Bedford; grandchildren, Debbie Kreuzman and husband, Chris, Emily Livingston and husband, Forrest, James and Jeremy York; two brothers, Carl Pavey and Donald Pavey; a sister, Malinda Adcock. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, Heather Rose York and a brother, Wesley Pavey. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, October 31st at Patton Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jay Bennett officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 1:30 pm on Friday, October 31st at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
