Dearest Charlie & Family ~ Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers for comfort & peace. I have a favorite verse/poem (which I have loved for years) that will now forever remind me of Esther. "Remember me with smiles and laughter, for that is how I will remember you all. If you can only remember with tears, then don't remember me at all." This was in an episode of Little House on the Prairie called "Remember Me." Although I can only imagine your sadness, I can hear Esther's voice saying this to us all. Esther will be remembered for so many things, but most of all for her welcoming smile and laugh . I cannot help but now think that every time I hear thunder in the future, I will know that Esther is skating OR riding horseback through the heavens organizing all of the saints for her signature chicken & noodles and rolls! I only hope that Heaven is ready for the Esther Parton that we have all known and loved! I thank you Charlie and Esther (and Mike) for welcoming so openly a homesick Virginia gal who roosted in IN for a brief time during a part of her hubby's military service! MUCH LOVE AND MANY HUGS ~ Susan Happy & Safe Trails ~~ Susan 8-D

Esther, you will be missed!! You have impacted so many people for so many years. I remember horse clinics many years ago -- lots of fun, lots of laughs, lots of GREAT food! I'm happy you were able to meet our latest addition, Mariah, when we were home the last time, as well as spend time with Myles & Mariah on the Bar P Ranch. Sweet pictures, and a wonderful time that day...
We love you and will miss you.
Charlie - our thoughts and prayers are with you! May the you feel the love of the Lord as he strengthens you during the days ahead. We pray that you are surrounded by family and friends to provide support and help, whenever and however it's needed. We love you too!
