Obituary of Ralph Parenti

Oak Park, Ralph Parenti, 73, of Cicero, Illinois, died at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10th, at the Oak Park Hospital in Oak Park, Illinois. Born on June 3, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Nickola and Mae (Floss) Parenti. He married Ruby Reynolds on August 16, 1963 and she survives. He was a truck driver in Chicago for many years and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. Surviving with his wife, Ruby, of Cicero, IL are three sons, Michael Parenti of Bedford, IN; Ralph N. and James Parenti both of Cicero, IL; three step-sons, Wayne Mitchell of Bedford, IN; Lee Mitchell of Streamwood, IL and David Mitchell of North Carolina; one step-daughter, Darlene Boeck of Cicero, IL; two sisters, Lucille Parenti of Lombard, IL and Catherine Mershon of IL; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 14th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Russ Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Patton Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
