Obituary of John David Overton

John David Overton John David Overton, 53, of Bedford, passed away at 4:33 P.M. Saturday, November 8th at Dunn Memorial Hospital. Born December 19, 1954 he was the son of Charles Overton and Georgetta (Spaulding) Overton. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Bedford. Surviving is one brother: Ed Overton of Outer Banks, NC; two sisters: Sharon Overton of Charlestown, IN and Sheila Flick and her husband, Mike of Fayetteville, IN; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother: Robert Overton, step grandmother: Margaret Spaulding, and two uncles: Joe and Robert Spaulding. Funeral Information Private services will be conducted in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Kenny Waldon officiating. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens. There will be no visitation at Day & Carter Mortuary.
