Obituary of Jean Lucille Easley Overholt

Bedford Jean Lucille Easley-Overholt, 89, of Bedford, died at 4:15 am on Monday, February 22, 2010 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born March 23, 1920 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Grover C. and Mary A. (Deckard) Eads. She married Larry Overholt on November 5, 1986 and he died June 3, 1994. She retired in 1985 as an inspector for the Anderson Co. in Gary, IN and was a member of their company golfing and bowling leagues. She was a member of the Old Union Christian Church, AARP and the White River Humane Society. Survivors include several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law; caregivers, Larry R. and Shirley Tirey. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Sylvia Padget and Mildred M. Kern; one brother, Glovie Eads. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 24th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Josh Brumfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
