I just wanted to tell you what a pleasure your mom was to be around. I recently started at Stonebridge on night shift. So many times, Mary would be the only one up when I came in. She was always so kind and had such a sweet smile.
I worked last night, and checked on her often. As the morning came, her breathing became more shallow. Betty had just checked on her minutes before I went in to find her. She left us so peacefully. But the one thing that you must know. That small hint of a smile on her face came in those few short minutes between my and Betty's visits. She didn't suffer, and I truly feel she was looking forward to what was ahead!
