Obituary of Herbert E. Nugent

Bedford Herbert E. Nugent, 84, of 926 I Street, Bedford, died at 1:40 pm on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Garden Villa in Bedford. Born July 7, 1928 in Malvern, AR, he was the son of Hurshal L. and Lillian (Foster) Nugent. He married Clydean Bowman on December 2, 1957 and she survives. He retired as a fork lift operator at Central Foundry in Bedford and was a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church and Masonic Lodge F & AM in Arkansas. Survivors include his wife, Clydean of Bedford; one son, Ron Nugent of Bedford; one daughter, Kelly Davis and husband, Daniel of Bedford; five grandchildren, Brooke Smith, Eric Davis, Ariana Burns, John Nugent and Lauren Davis; nieces, Bobbie Jo Haley, Sharon Montgomery and Penny Thornton. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Hubert (his twin) and Floyd. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 14th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, July 13th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
