Obituary of Millard Earl Norman

Bedford Millard Earl Junior Norman, 84, of Bedford, died at 3:50 am on Monday, April 02, 2012 at the White River Lodge. Born October 2, 1927 in Lawrence Co., he was the son of Earl and Eva Norman. He married Martha Ann Morgan on January 6, 1945 and she died on November 29, 1996. He retired from General Motors after forty-two and one half years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local #440. Survivors include two sons, Lloyd Norman of Bedford and Barry Norman of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Janelle Smoot and husband, Greg of Bedford, Kyle Norman of Indianapolis, Janeane Walls and husband, Tim of Bedford, Leah Beardslee of Indianapolis, Lyna Anderson and husband, Jay of Bedford, Charlie Batman of Bedford; three sisters, Helen Richardson of Unionville, IN, Colleen Perry and Joan Bailey both of Bedford; two brothers, Keith Norman of Texas and Larry Norman of Heltonville; ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, five brothers, Dale, Paul, Robert, Harold and Roy and a daughter-in-law, Patty Norman. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 4th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Michael Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in Gilgal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
