Obituary of Lee Etta New

Lee Etta New, 90, of Oolitic, died at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at her residence. Born January 13, 1920, she was the daughter of Clint and Nellie (May) Robbins. She married Fredrick (Ted) New in 1956 and preceded her in death in 1985. Lee Etta was a homemaker and attended Oolitic Pentecostal Church. Survivors include; two daughters, Judy Neal and husband Stan of Lebanon, IN, Janet Wagner of Oolitic, one brother Farrell Robbins of Bedford, eight granddaughters; Shari Campbell and husband Ken, Lisha Stailey and husband Mark, Kelly Fleenor, Jenni Moore and husband David, Janelle Dodson and husband Mike, Jade Wagner, Michelle Osborne and husband Mike, Mindi Robinson and husband Daryl, nine great grandchildren; Caleb and Jesse Stailey, Kiel and Logan Campbell, Taylor Fleenor, Brock, Clair, Lucas and Ethan Dodson, Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by; her parents, one daughter, JoAnne Flynn, one grandson, Jarrett Wagner and her husband Ted New. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 16, 2010 from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Marty Speer and Bro. Keith Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Hilltop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 15th and from 11:00 am until the hour of service at the mortuary.
