Obituary of George W. Bill' Neal

Leesville George W. Bill Neal, 81, of Leesville, died at 10:30 pm on Monday, October 24, 2005 at the Mitchell Manor Nursing Home in Mitchell, IN. Born October 23, 1924 in Mitchell, IN, he was the son of Roy and Beaulah (White) Neal. He was the owner of Jays Cafe for twenty-two years and a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge and V.F.W. Survivors include two daughters, Linda Lou Craig and Mary Thompson both of Leesville; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, former wife, Betty Brown; two brothers, Bob and Howard Neal; one sister, Betty Lou Dotts and one great grandson, Jarrad Nikirk. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, October 28th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Larry Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 27th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Friday, October 28th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of the American Legion.
