Obituary of Audrey Myers

Bedford Audrey Myers, 79, a resident of Cambridge Square Apts. in Bedford, died at 12:32 am on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at her residence. Born April 13, 1925 in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Elmer and Lelia (Williamson) Smith. She married Charles Laverne Myers on September 14, 1942 and he preceded her in death. She retired from M. Fine & Sons Mfg. in Bedford and was a member of the Faith Mission Church. Survivors include one son, Jerry Lee Myers of Florida; one daughter, Leah Jane Richardson of Texas; three grandchildren, Stephen Myers of Bedford, Heather Hopson and Hope Goodman both of Texas; six great grandchildren, Bradley Myers of Bedford, Donovon Kannard, Desiree Kannard, Loren Chafins, Alexis Williams and Bryce Williams all of Texas; three step-grandchildren, Joseph A. Gore, Jayce E. Shifflett and Valerie N. Shifflett; two sisters, Alma Smith of Bedford and Betty Tafflinger of Mitchell; one brother, Norman Smith of Oolitic. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Lewis and Leslie Smith; two sisters, Agnes Meadows and Viola Jackson. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 7th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Bro. Leonard Sankey officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6th and from 11:00 am until the hour of service on Thursday, April 7th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
