Obituary of Benjamin Michael Myers

Bloomington Benjamin Michael Myers, 33, of Bloomington, found his peace on Thursday, July 17, 2014. Born January 10, 1981 in Charleston, SC, he was the son of Michael and Joanna (Damasceno) Myers. He was employed by Millennium Properties in Bloomington and attended Stonegate Faith Center in Bedford. He will be remembered as a loving father and loyal friend. He was compassionate, hardworking, and fun loving. Ben will be greatly missed by those who knew him. He enjoyed camping, hiking, deer hunting, caving and playing with his daughter, Bentley. Survivors include his parents, Michael and Joanna; a daughter, Bentley Myers of Bedford; a sister, Jennifer Rodriguez and husband, Duviel of Tampa, FL; a niece, Bella Mia Rodriguez and a nephew, Gideon Rodriguez both of Tampa, FL; his paternal grandfather, Donald Myers of Cape Coral, FL; several aunts, uncles and cousins and many friends. Funeral Information Per Bens preference, cremation was chosen. A celebration of his life will be conducted at 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 26th at the Stonegate Faith Center, 130 M Street, Bedford with Pastors Jan and Martie Spaulding officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until the hour of service on Saturday, July 26th at the church.
