Obituary of Imogene Murphy

Bedford Imogene Murphy, 87, of Bedford, died on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at her residence. Born February 18, 1926 in Bedford, she was the daughter of George and Zena (Slinkard) Rainey. She was a Mail Handler at CRANE Ammunition Depot. She loved to play cards, paint and do crafts. Survivors include one daughter, Kathleen Parry of Orlando, FL, one son Howard Murphy of Bedford, three grandchildren, Ryan Shane Hawkins, Shannon Murphy and Cody Murphy, four great grandchildren, Victoria Renee Murphy, Shelby Danielle Hawkins, Samantha Kates Fleener and Shawn Michael Hawkins, two sisters, Georgia Lee Mitchell of Indianapolis and Mickey McDonald of Dallas, TX, two nieces, Linda Connors of Bedford and JoEllen Roach of Bedford and many more loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, one sister and one son, Michael Dean Murphy. Funeral Information Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Mundell Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Gary Houston officiating.
