Obituary of John Barnes

Bedford John Barnes, 50, of 505 Sycamore Drive, died in his home Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 6:00 am. Born April 2, 1962 in Fries Point, Mississippi, he was the son of Johnnie Barnes and James Edward Monagon. He was employed at Midwest Metal Spinning in Bedford. John was a friendly person who enjoyed barbecuing and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He leaves to cherish fond memories of him, his mother, Johnny of the home; his father James; three daughters, Candy, Tiffany, and Lawanda; sons, John, Roney, John Jr., Tarence, and Tyrone; sixteen grandchildren; three brothers, Ivory, Kirk, and Ken; one nephew living in the home, Melvin; eight aunts; six uncles; a very special friend, Terri; and a host of cousins and friends. John was preceded in death by two sons, Lamont and Josiph. Funeral Information Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 23rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Donald Griffin officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to service time on Friday, November 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
