He volunteered for the military at the age of seventeen and served in the Navy during WW II. He was a member of the Old Union Christian Church and was a witness and comfort to his family and friends during his illness. After a lifetime of hard work, he will be remembered most for his love for his family. The little ones were drawn to him by his quiet and gentle manner. He loved babies and would always take them out to see the moon and stars. And if they happened to get their shoes muddy, hed have them cleaned and ready before Sunday School. Funeral Information
