Obituary of William Dennis Hicks

Bedford- William Dennis Hicks, 62, of 896 Middle Leesville Road, Bedford, died at 9:00 pm on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Bedford Regional Medical Center. Born March 30, 1947 in Bedford, he was the son of William D. and Ruby K. Hicks. He worked at Armstrong Carpets in Bedford and was a salesman in Chicago. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Gooden of Ft. Wayne, IN and Melissa Russell of Bloomington; two sons, Scott Hicks of Greenwood and Dennis Hicks of Little Rock, AR; three brothers, Steve McDonald of North Vernon, Randy Nelson of Pendleton, IN and John Nelson of Bedford; three sisters, Claudia Cazee of Bedford, Debbie LaLonde of North Vernon and Kathy Holt of Bloomington; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister, Brenda Coy, and loving wife, Helen Hicks. Funeral Information A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date at the home of Claudia Cazee. Burial will be in the Green Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
