Obituary of Mary Kathy Barlow

Bedford Mary (Kathy) Barlow, 66, of 267 Butterfly Lane, Bedford, died at 1:36 pm on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at I.U. Health Bedford Hospital. Born January 13, 1945 in Lawrence Co., she was the daughter of Maynard and Mary Delight (Bates) Gardner. She was a CNA/Caregiver for forty years and a member of the V.F.W. and Order of the Odd Fellows. Survivors include four children, Cheryl LaClair and Dean of Wisconsin, Cindy Wade and Lloyd of Bedford, Christy Wininger and Tony and Cammie Barlow all of Mitchell; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Ford, Matt Johnson, Dusty Johnson, Jessica Ford, Jeanetta Ford, Eric LaClair, Dwayne Barlow, David Barlow and Katie Wininger; one great grandchild, Braelyn Johnson; two sisters, Vera Brown and Edith Sinders. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Don Gardner; two sisters, Ruth Smith and Dottie Guthrie. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 23rd in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in Tunnelton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the hour of service on Wednesday, February 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
