Obituary of Paul Eugene Morgan

Bedford Paul Eugene Morgan, 70, of Bedford, died at 12:45 pm on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at StoneBridge Health Campus in Bedford following a seven month illness. Born August 4, 1938 in Orange Co., he was the son of Paul and Marie (Beaty) Morgan. He graduated from Bedford High School with the class of 1956 and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was the owner of an aluminum business in Hobe Sound, Florida for seven years and was a commercial fisherman out of Jupiter, FL. He was a member of the West Palm Beach Coin Club and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Conner and husband, Wendell of Franklin, IN and Paula Harpole of Orlando, FL; two brothers, David Morgan and wife, Barbara of Jupiter, FL, Clark Morgan and wife, Angela of Bedford; two sisters, Judy Kellams and husband, Bill of Bedford and Lana Morgan of Bedford; four grandchildren, Paul Morgan and Stephanie Conner both of Franklin, IN, Angela Fletcher and Thomas Fuller both of Florida; two great grandchildren, Zachary and Isaac Morgan of Franklin, IN; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Lisa Jean Morgan. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 9th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Kenny Bundy officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be accorded at the graveside by members of Gillen Post #33 American Legion.
