Bob, Connie, Walt & Mitch - Hilda was my mentor. Hilda helped me mature as a person. The last words we said to each other were "I love you." We were both getting our hair done at the Cut Hut. One of my many memories of Hilda was that her Mother Inez always made her a pink and white checkerboard cake for her birthday. After she told me the story I had a checkerboard cake made for her birthday when we worked together. We both cried. We also had a lot of laughs over the years. I miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'm sending this message instead of expressing this in person because I'm home sick with the flu. Wish I could pay my respects in person. Hilda was a wonderful Wife, Mother, Mother-in-law and Grandmother. God Bless you all.
