Obituary of Beverly Jane Miller

Bedford Beverly Jane Miller, 71, of Springville, died at 9:35 am on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington. Born October 23, 1937 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Peter Joseph and Anna (Bex) Mercier. She married Otis Laverne Miller on August 31, 1957 and he preceded her in death. She retired from Visteon in Bedford after twenty years. She was a member of the Oolitic Church of Christ and enjoyed painting and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Kent Miller and wife, Michelle of Springville; one daughter, Ann King and husband, Terry of Bedford; two grandchildren, Lance and Lacey King; two sisters, Rosalie More of Bedford and Bettie Ann Kern of Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Michele Miller; two brothers, John and A. Joe Mercier. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 3rd from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Larry Hammersley officiating. Burial will follow in the Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 2nd and from 12:00 noon until the hour of service on Saturday, October 3rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
