Obituary of Edna H. Miller

Bedford Edna H. Miller, 91, of 207 Valley Drive, Bedford, died at 12:50 am on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Bloomington Hospital. Born February 1, 1917 in Clinton, MA, she was the daughter of James and Laura Hoban. She married Marvin L. Miller on December 2, 1944 and he died on April 16, 2006. She was an administrative assistant with the FBI. She worked at Ft. Devon, MA where she met her husband, Marvin. Edna was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority and was very active in the Little Theater in Bedford. She had a life-long fascination with current events, fashion and the arts. A member of the Catholic faith, she was a loving wife and devoted mother. Survivors include two daughters, Susan Miller of Marietta, GA and Jennifer Holden and her husband, Larry of Dallas, TX; two grandsons, Christopher Holden and his wife, Kelly and Jeffrey Holden; four great grandchildren, Hayley, Bianca, Zachary and Alexandria; a sister, Edith Kurtz of Maui, HI; nieces and nephews, Stewart Rariden and his wife, Jane, Marsha Horsak and her husband, Cliff, Mary Hew and her husband, Garrett. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, John and her niece, Leslie. Funeral Information Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Sunday, January 25th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Deacon Dave Rising officiating. Private interment will be in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 1:00 pm until the hour of service on Sunday, January 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
