Obituary of John Hestand

BedfordJohn Hestand, 71, a resident of Golden Living Center, Indianapolis, IN passed away at 12:07 P.M. Wednesday, August 27th in Indianapolis. Born on September 30, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN he was the son of Iral Hestand and Beatrice (Bennett) Hestand. He was retired from the Miracle Food Company. Surviving are two sisters: Arlene Timbs of Punta Gorda, FL and Dianna Miller of Indianapolis, IN; three brothers: Iral J. Hestand Jr. of Noblesville, IN; David L. Hestand of Indianapolis, IN and Richard Hestand of Bargersville, IN; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Melvina (Staggs) Hestand; his daughter, Melissa Hestand and his sister, Patricia Hestand. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 30th in the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial following in the Hillenburg Cemetery. Friends may call at Day & Carter Mortuary on Friday, August 29th from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
