Obituary of Mary B. Miles

BedfordMary B. (Suzy) Miles, 85, of 2018 Circle Court, Bedford, passed away at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, September 3rd at the Stonebridge Health Campus. Born on July 8, 1921 in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Roy F. Snow and Helen Virginia (Tyndall) Snow. She married Kenneth W. Miles on October 15, 1966 and he survives. She retired in 1980 from Indiana Bell Telephone after working 34 years. She was a 50 year plus member of the First Baptist Church; Lifetime member of Telephone Pioneers of America; Past officer with the United Way and Board of Directors. Her hobbies were gardening, ceramics and bridge. Surviving with her husband of Bedford, is one granddaughter: Jacqueline M. Rosen and her husband, Mike of Carmel, IN; three great grandchildren: Jared, Owen and Marin Rosen all of Carmel, IN; son-in-law: Jack Edwards of Avon, IN; one niece: Joleen Cigut of Florence, AL. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Marihelen Edwards; her first husband: Wayne Massy and one brother: Joseph Snow Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at Day & Carter Mortuary at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 7th. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Kregg Burris officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from Noon until the hour of the service at Day & Carter Mortuary.
