Obituary of Kenneth D. Mikels

Bedford Kenneth D. Mikels, 71, of Bedford, died at 1:33 am on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at Westview Manor Nursing and Rehab. Center. Born April 11, 1940 in Monroe Co., he was the son of Virgil and Ruby (Taylor) Mikels. He had worked as a security guard for Wetterau Foods and of the Protestant faith. Survivors include a sister, Norma Donica and husband, Albert Eugene of Bedford; five nephews, Allen Donica and wife, Terri, Fred Donica, Richard Lee Donica and wife, Sheila, Mike Donica and wife, Dian all of Bedford and Jim Donica and wife, Teresa of Texas; one niece, Debbie Ratliff and husband, Phillip of Bedford; five great nephews; four great nieces; one great great niece; one aunt; two step-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Thursday, January 26th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Knights Ridge Cemetery in Monroe Co. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 25th at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
