Obituary of Ronald Lloyd Meadows
Bedford Ronald Lloyd Meadows, 73, of Bedford, died at 2:33 am on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born May 1, 1939 in Bedford, he was the son of Lloyd Tack and Agnes (Smith) Meadows. He married Linda Abrams on October 31, 1969 and she survives. He retired in 1992 after thirty years as a diamond saw operator for Architectural Stone Co. and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Viet Nam War. He was a member of the Gillen Post #33 American Legion and enjoyed horse pulls and collecting antiques.
Survivors include his wife of forty-four years, Linda, of Bedford; two aunts, Betty Talingar of Bedford and Betty Meadows of Mooresville; several cousins; his dog, Cricket. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Guy Jones. Ronnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 6th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Bartlettsville Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 5th and from 12 noon until the hour of service on Saturday, April 6th at the Day & Carter Mortuary. Donations Information
