Obituary of Lois Hazel McPike

Bloomington Lois Hazel Taylor McPike, 77, of Bloomington died at 11:20 pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Bloomington Nursing and Rehab. Center. Born March 23, 1927 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Nathan LaVere and Grace Clementine (Bridwell) Taylor. She retired from General Electric of Bloomington in 1989. She was a member of First Christian Church in Bedford and attended Woodhaven Christian Church in Bloomington. Survivors include one daughter, Carol Grace Taylor Scott and her husband, Ronald of Bloomington; two sons, Robert William McPike and his wife, Tina of Bedford and Leslie W. McPike and his wife, Anita of Ellettsville; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one sister, Alice Boyles of Bloomington. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Martha Sipes, Doris J. Todd and Mary Walker; three brothers, Robert William (Jack) and Roscoe Taylor. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 10th from the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Bob Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 9th and from 9:00 am until the hour of service on Saturday at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
