Obituary of Joseph Patrick McIntire

Tunnelton Joseph Patrick Pat McIntire, 67, of Tunnelton, died at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 1, 2006 at his residence. Born January 20, 1939 in Jennings Co., he was the son of Emerson and Mary M. (Arbuckle) McIntire. He retired from Seymour Tubing and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Survivors include two daughters, Mary M. Coolbaugh and her husband, Jess and Tina M. Shields and her husband, Scott all of Virginia; one son, Joseph P. McIntire, Jr. of Virginia; his former wife, Audrey Fisher McIntire of Virginia; four grandchildren and one brother, Johnny Ray Miller. He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, Mary M. Miller, his step-father, George Miller, one sister, Carrie Mae McIntire and one brother, William McIntire. Funeral Information A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in North Carolina. No calling hours are scheduled. Arrangements are under the direction of the Day & Carter Mortuary.
