Obituary of Connie Elaine Baldwin

Connie Elaine Baldwin, 65, of 87 Rivervale Cabin Rd, Bedford, IN, died Saturday, April 9, 2011 at her residence. Born July 26, 1945 in Bedford, she was the daughter of Clarence Ephriam and Jessie Marie (Southern) Covey. Connie married James Dale Baldwin on June 14, 1977 and he survives. She retired as an assembly line worker for RCA in 1998 after thirty-three years. Connie was a member of the New Union Church. She was an avid bowler and a member of the U.S. Bowling Congress and the Senior Bowling League. She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and the outdoors. Survivors include her husband, James Dale of Bedford; one daughter, Audra Marie Baldwin of Bedford; one brother, Rev. Clarence Ronald Covey and wife Judy of South Bend; step-children, James T. Baldwin and wife Taresa of Bedford, Marta Lake of Bedford, Toby Baldwin of Bedford, Edward M. Baldwin and wife Twila of Mitchell, Shirley Terrell and husband Mark of Mitchell; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Connie was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Information Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, April 12th 2011 in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Rev. Clarence Covey and Bro Michael French officiating. Cremation will follow after the service. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday.
