Obituary of Blanche Maxwell

West Lafayette Blanche Maxwell, 97, of West Lafayette, IN, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at her residence. Born June 3, 1914 in Norman, IN, she was the daughter of Ulysses Grant and Amanda (Cummings) Norman. She married Carl Maxwell and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Presbyterian Church in West Lafayette. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Richard Todd, Wilma Spencer, Fred Todd and Dorothy Bauer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters, Julia Schultz, Katie Norman, Florence Todd and Naomi Norman; one brother, Ernest Glen Norman. Funeral Information Graveside services will be conducted at 11:30 am on Thursday, February 23rd in Green Hill Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Scott officiating. Burial will follow. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, February 23rd at the Day & Carter Mortuary.
