Obituary of Tana Mauzy-Kerker

Charlestown Tana Mauzy-Kerker, 62, of 5719 Stacy Road, Charlestown, IN, died at 1:20 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at the Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. Born November 8, 1949 in Bedford, IN, she was the daughter of Wilbur (Jack) and Frieda (Stancombe) Mauzy. She married Scott Kerker and he survives. She was employed in hospital administration for much of her life and assisted with several Alzheimers support groups. She enjoyed genealogy, horses, her pets, being in the outdoors and her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Scott Kerker; one daughter, Tamme Been; a grandson, Harrison Been; a granddaughter, Haleigh Been all of Charlestown, IN; one brother, Jack Mauzy of New Albany, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kimberly (in infancy) and a granddaughter, Shelby (in infancy). Funeral Information A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on March 10th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary. No visitation is planned.
